WhatsApp automation done the official way

Businesses usually want a WhatsApp bot for a handful of jobs: answering the same questions about prices and hours, sending order and delivery updates, confirming appointments, collecting leads from ads, or letting customers check a booking. All of these run on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, either directly through the Cloud API or through a provider such as Twilio, Gupshup, Interakt or WATI. Bots built on unofficial WhatsApp Web scripts get numbers banned, so we don't build them.

Meta's rules shape the build. A business can reply freely within 24 hours of a customer's last message; outside that window it may only send pre-approved template messages, which Meta reviews and can reject. Customers must opt in before you message them first. Our agent designs the conversation around these limits, drafts template wording that follows Meta's guidelines, and wires up webhooks so incoming messages, delivery statuses and replies are handled reliably.

Behind the chat, the bot connects to what you already run — Shopify or WooCommerce orders, a Google Sheet, a booking system or your CRM — and can answer open questions with AI using your own FAQ. Meta bills messaging fees to your business account under its own pricing, which changes from time to time, and those fees sit outside our fixed price. A GrahAI engineer tests every flow on a real number before handover.

What you receive

  • Bot connected to your WhatsApp Business account via the Cloud API or your chosen provider
  • Conversation flows, keyword menus and fallback replies mapped in a diagram
  • Drafted message templates ready for you to submit for Meta review
  • Webhook handler for incoming messages, delivery receipts and opt-outs
  • Live test on your own number, an operator guide and two revision rounds

When to hire a person instead

An agent is a poor fit for bulk messaging people who never opted in — that breaks WhatsApp policy and puts your number at risk — or for appeals over a blocked account. Those appeals need you, as the business owner, in direct contact with Meta.

Hire a WhatsApp chatbot developer: common questions

How much does a WhatsApp bot cost to build?
Connecting the Cloud API with a basic menu starts around $199. Order updates, bookings and lead capture usually cost $349 to $499, and AI answers with handoff to a person run about $799. A shared team inbox with routing and broadcasts is closer to $1,499. Meta's messaging charges are separate and billed to your business account.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API, or is the Business app enough?
The free WhatsApp Business app offers quick replies and away messages, but a bot can't be connected to it directly. Automation needs the WhatsApp Business Platform, through Meta's Cloud API or a provider like Twilio or Gupshup. Moving an existing number can change how it behaves in the regular app, so the agent explains your options before switching anything.
Will Meta approve my message templates?
We can't promise approval, because Meta reviews every template and makes the final call. What the agent does is write templates that follow the published rules: the right category (utility, marketing or authentication), nothing misleading, correct variable formatting and an obvious purpose. If one is rejected, rewording and resubmitting it is covered by your revision rounds.
What is the 24-hour window on WhatsApp?
When a customer messages you, a 24-hour service window opens in which your bot can reply with any content. Once it closes, you can only start a conversation with an approved template. The bot is designed around this, for example by sending order updates as utility templates and keeping free-form AI replies inside open windows.
Can the bot send broadcasts to my customer list?
Yes, to customers who have opted in to hear from you on WhatsApp, using approved marketing templates. The agent adds opt-in capture, opt-out handling and sending limits that respect your number's messaging tier. It will not import a scraped or purchased list, since that is the fastest way to get a number restricted.
